Caramel, Raspberry, Chocolate

This coffee comes from the town of Acevedo is nestled in the heart of Southern Huila which is home to some of the best terroir for growing high quality coffee in the entire country of Colombia. This coffee was blended from smaller day lots grown on Finca La Florida by Gilberto Rojas. These smaller lots normally would have been sold locally for incredibly low prices and mixed into large, non-traceable regional blends. By keeping them separate, our importer Apex was able to ensure that Gilberto was paid fairly for his coffees and can highlight more of his hard work of growing coffee.  The rich, dark chocolate characteristics are balanced with fresh raspberry and caramel sweetness.
